Description:
The objective of Phase I of the refurbishment project is to: • Redesign the current failing retaining wall. o Ensure proper drainage from retaining wall. • Design concrete pad for garbage bins beyond the existing footprint for safely loading/unloading garbage bins. • Provide estimates for removing and replacing failing retaining wall. o Ensure proper anchoring of retaining wall (if applicable). • Investigate/provide options for moving the appliance and metal bins for over-side access from asphalt pad. • Plan the removal and replacement of current bin roof structure(s). Ensuring proper high of structure for roll off operations. • Raise asphalt pad at retaining wall to fix settlement issues and ensure sufficient drainage. • Investigate feasibility of other site layout options to increase ease of use and efficiency. o Structure heights must be considered with any configuration changes. o Provide options for minimizing waste leaving the bins by wind or wildlife.
