- The County hereby engages the Contractor to provide certain services to the County as an independent contractor, to perform motor grader maintenance on the gravel surface roads identified in Appendix “C" when called out by the County as described in the contract and to perform other work as requested by the County (altogether the "Services")."Equipment" means equipment to be used for the Services under this agreement, asidentified in Appendix ‘A-.The Contractor represents, warrants, and agrees to provide a skilled and experiencedoperator to perform the Services in a safe, competent, and professional manner. Theoperator must be proficient in shoulder maintenance techniques, road construction andrepair.
