Description:
Background
Environment and climate Change Canada (ECCC)initiated a project to replace obsolete and aging radar systems along with their supporting infrastructure. The goal of this project was to replace all existing weather radar installations with new S-Band radars. Upon the project completion, in order to support the weather network, a new set of equipment which can be operated at the desired frequency range, are needed in order to fulfill OSE-s commitment to support the network. additional equipment capable of operating within the desired frequency range is required to fulfill OSE-s commitment to maintaining and supporting the weather radar network.
Purpose
The following statement of work describes requirements to procure lab equipment for the Operative System Engineering-s (OSE) to support radar operation.
Objective
The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to procure a Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Power Sensor to enhance OSE-s capability in supporting their clients, including the operating weather radar network.
