- The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amherstburg is just over 23,500.
The Town of Amherstburg is undertaking infrastructure improvements to the original Duffy-s property located along the Detroit River at 290, 296 and 306 Dalhousie Street. The scope of work includes construction of underground subsurface site servicing, new concrete walkways, electrical services, retaining walls, soil disposal, grading, drainage and landscaping to blend the new site with the existing Kings Navy Yard Park.
This project is intended to be the second tender of Phase 1 extending the existing King-s Navy Yard Park South as envisioned in the 2019 Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. - Documents:
