Summary Details:
The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the Owner) invites pre-qualified Contractor's to submit tenders for ITT.014.21, Kilmer Creek Daylighting - Phase 1 Box Culvert.
The scope of the works generally involves the following components:
- Tree clearing and grubbing;
- Environmental protection and tree protection;
- In-stream works, site isolation, creek bed excavation reshaping, riprap, installation of creek bed stabilizers and restoration of stream bank;
- Supply and installation of a new redi-rock retaining wall;
- Supply and installation of 41m of prefabricated concrete box culvert, concrete headwall, and access manholes;
- Replacement of approximately 17m of sanitary sewer pipe;
- Construction of approximately 150m of watermain and services including a bridge crossing;
- Abandonment of existing watermain with CDF;
- Pavement and concrete removal, and reinstatement of pavement structure including road and driveway paving, curbs, sidewalks, and driveway letdowns;
- Construction of environmental protection fencing; and
- Works in proximity to overhead power lines and poles including protection and/or temporary support of these poles and power lines.
