- Kawartha Conservation is seeking quotations from qualified waste management service providers to supply, service, and maintain waste collection bins at Ken Reid Conservation Area. These services support the ongoing operation and management of the conservation area and play a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and accessible public spaces for visitors, staff, and the community.
The current waste collection system includes one (1) 4-yard garbage bin and one (1) 2-yard cardboard recycling bin, both serviced on an on-call basis and located at 277 Kenrei Road in Lindsay, Ontario. While this system supports daily operations, Kawartha Conservation is seeking cost-effective, reliable, and user-friendly solutions that may improve service efficiency and overall waste management outcomes.
Work will include the supply and placement of waste and/or recycling bins, along with ongoing collection services. Proponents are invited to provide pricing for both on-call and scheduled service options, and may propose alternative bin configurations or recycling solutions that improve efficiency or waste diversion.
Qualified proponents must demonstrate experience in waste collection services, the ability to provide reliable service, and experience operating safely in high-traffic public environments.
This Request for Quotation closes on April 30th, 2026 at 4:00pm. Kawartha Conservation intends to notify the preferred proponent by May 4th, 2026.
Work is expected to commence immediately thereafter, with all bins to be delivered and operational no later than May 8th, 2026. - Documents:
