Description:
SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from experienced civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City-s Juniper Drive Storm Outfall Project (the ‘Project-), that focuses on the construction of a storm outfall in the vicinity of 1838 Juniper Drive, Merritt, as shown on the Contract Drawings. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.
Contract Time: The City of providing Respondents with a flexible in which to perform the Work, with the following key milestone date requirements:
The Work may commence anytime on or after: November 25th 2025Substantial Performance of the Work: must be achieved no later than April 30th 2026Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 20 calendar days following Substantial Performance.Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
