Description:
The City of Courtenay (the “City”) is seeking Proposals from qualified janitorial service
contractors to provide cleaning services at the Operations Yard, City Hall, Fire Hall,
Information Systems Site and Human Resources Site. Note that the Fire Hall may be removed
from the scope of work in 2026.

The contract term shall commence on May 1, 2025 and expire on April 30, 2027. The contract
may be extended for up to an additional three (3) years based on mutual agreement by both
parties, satisfactory pricing and a satisfactory performance review performed by the City.

The City will be holding a Mandatory Site Meeting February 27, 2025 at 10am. The meeting
location will be the guest parking lot of the City-s Operations Yard located at 1000 Piercy
Avenue. All building locations and scope of works will be reviewed in order for Proponents to
be able to submit informed proposals.

Proposals will not be accepted from Proponents who do not attend this site meeting.
Proponents who arrive after the building location tours have commenced will be turned away
and ineligible to submit a proposal.
