- Rocky View County is inviting submissions for a contractor to provide regional pathway reconstruction along the south side of Balsam Avenue between River Drive and Burnside Drive in Bragg Creek, Alberta. The existing pathway sits in a low area along the south side of Balsam Avenue resulting in ponding water and snow accumulation on this pathway. The purpose of the reconstruction is to create an all-season pathway that can be used year-round without water or snow buildup. It is noted that this project is an initiative of the Council. It is required that this project be presented to the Council for budgetary allocation and further direction proved to the Administration of the County to proceed with the award, execution of the Agreement, and construction. The presentation is anticipated to be made in mid-March 2025. If approved, the work is expected to be completed by August 31, 2025.
