- Project Description: South Similkameen Health Centre (SSH) project will replace existing emergency power generator which lacks capacity to carry high load equipment (i.e., Chillers). Additionally, the facility includes Orchard Heaven Long-Term Care, that is not supported by the existing emergencygenerator. The Contractor will replace the existing transfer switch and generator with a new larger capacity externally located generator with capacity to provide emergency power to the entire building including LTC c/w belly fuel tank (48-72 hour) and sound attenuated enclosure and open transitionAutomatic Transfer Switch. The Contractor will also include modifications to the emergency distribution, transformers, and panels as required. Estimated Construction budget is $1,170,000.00 Contractor to state numbers of weeks to Substantial Completion.
