Description:
Project Description: Scope will include the complete replacement of the two (2) Contractor supplied Air Handling Units servicing the Laboratory and the Psychiatric Ward at Kootenay Boundary Hospital.
• The overall intent is to replace existing approx. 8000CFM & 12000CFM units with expected approx. 15000 CFM capacity units.
• The existing space has minimal room for completely new units so AHU fans and filtration components will have to be placed outside and then duct into the existing OA intake penetration with the heating/cooling/humidification sections built inside the mechanical room.
• Due to the increase in capacity of the systems the project will include new connections for heating/cooling/steam - see sub-basement level.Estimated Construction budget is $3,300,000.00
Contractor to state numbers of weeks to Substantial Completion.
