- The City seeks a partner or consortium of partners to design, build, and commission deep energy retrofits at up to 101 housing units across six (6) building sites to reduce both energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by over 50%, contributing to Canada-s broader commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The Successful Proponent will be required to work with the City-s Team to achieve or exceed a number of project goals using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach.
The City has selected Integrated Project Delivery as a methodology of project delivery for this deep energy retrofit project to enhance the delivery of this project and mitigate the risks associated with other delivery models. The City is intending to use the CCDC30-2025 contract to support this project for the entire duration.
Colliers Project Leaders has been retained by the City as an IPD advisor and will provide IPD coaching and support facilitating the IPD process. The successful proponent is not responsible to provide IPD coaching or advisory services to the City.
The intent is to enter into a single, multi-party IPD Agreement covering all of the work described in the Scope of Work (see Appendix D: RFP Particulars) at all of the sites and their buildings. It is expected that the signatories to the IPD Agreement will include the City and the Successful Proponent; in the event that the Successful Proponent is a consortium, multiple members of the consortium may be signatories to the agreement depending on the nature of the consortium. - Documents:
