- 1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to identify potential qualified vendors for the provision of continuous interventional and diagnostic radiology services at Regina General Hospital.
Despite this EOI being posted on SaskTenders, this EOI relates to the provision of "health services" as described in Canadian Free Trade Agreement and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, and this procurement is therefore not subject to those trade agreements.
2. BACKGROUND
Regina General Hospital is a tertiary care centre and offers a full range of Medical Imaging services including radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, MRI, computed tomography, and interventional radiology. A table outlining the various service volumes can be found in Appendix A.

3. CURRENT STATE
Radiologist services in Regina have been provided by radiologists working with radiology groups along with radiologists employed through individual contracts.
The SHA currently has insufficient radiologists to meet the patient imaging demands required at a tertiary facility, most notably for the delivery of on-site procedures.
