Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (“MITT”) invites designated professional Canadian accounting firms to submit Proposals to provide Internal Audit Services as further described herein. As a relatively small organization, MITT does not have its own internal audit department. The need for an internal audit has become increasingly important to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our financial and operational processes. By engaging an external firm, MITT aims to benefit from an objective and comprehensive evaluation of its internal controls, risk management, and governance practices. This initiative will help us identify areas for improvement, enhance accountability, and support our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and financial stewardship.The scope of the audit will include a thorough review of financial transactions, compliance with relevant regulations and policies, assessment of risk management procedures, evaluation of operational efficiency, and identification of potential areas for improvement.
