Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for an internal audit assessment for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Shared Health, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B - Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D). Shared Health and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) share Internal Audit Services with a small team composed of a Director, Risk and Audit Services and two Managers, Internal Audit. Given the scope and magnitude of the two organizations and the need to ensure independent, objective assurance related to risk management, controls and governance processes, the two organizations are seeking a firm to conduct a two-phased assessment.
