Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Project Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for interior renovations to the Golden Boy Roomlocated at the Manitoba Legislative Building as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). The work is being done in Manitoba Legislative Building located at 450 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB. Work site location will be partially occupied during construction. Preferences:In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers,Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified. Proponents to bid using the approved product list and/or specifications (which may include US products), however, followingcontract award the successful Bidders will be required to work with Government and associated consultants to substitute some/all US products (where practical) with those made in Canada and outside of the United States.
