- The Municipality of Brighton is seeking proposals from a multi-disciplined professional consulting team for the completion of an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP), and potentially the inclusion of Sustainable Development Standards (SDS). Vendors will submit detailed proposals that will:
• Assess the Brighton community and complete a Community Sustainability Assessment Report (CSAR)
• Consult with the community of the Municipality of Brighton regarding a sustainable future
• Draft an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP) for presentation to Council
• Develop a Community Action Plan for implementing any recommended policies, guidelines, standards or best practices measures
• Assess and recommend the required resource levels needed to achieve success in supporting an ICSP and its Community Action Plan
• Draft Sustainable Development Standards (SDS) if deemed appropriate following community consultations
The scope of work, including any reduced version from that described above as deemed appropriate, will be advised by the successful consulting firm.
