Description:
The purpose of the RFP is to select an Insurance Broker(s) to assist EDC in as the broker of record for EDC's: Corporate Insurance requirements by maintaining, updating, and finding insurance policies as required by EDC, inclusive of travel accident and special risk coverages/reinsurance programs as needed to compliment EDC's domestic group insurance and global insurance programs. Aviation Insurance requirements by maintaining, updating, and finding insurance policies as required by EDC.The Successful Proponent will provide guidance, market-pricing, and support for coverage as well as support for any potential claim resolution, in addition to all other services provided for in this RFP. A list of coverage types and amounts is available in section 4 of this RFP.Proponents may choose to respond to Stream 1 Corporate Insurance, Stream 2 Aviation Insurance, or both. Proponents are advised that should they choose to respond to both Streams the Proposals submitted will be evaluated separately by EDC.The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of 3 years, with an option in favour of EDC to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 additional terms of up to one (1) year each.
