Description : Construction of a approximately 5 km, 500 kV transmission line bypass that generally includes material handling, site preparation, installation of eleven self supported lattice towers with grillage or rock anchored foundations, assembly and erection of towers, stringing of a four bundle phase conductor and testing and commissioning near Telkwa, BC. Construction of new access roads as required. Road maintenance of new and existing access roads will form part of the Work, on an as required basis (Provisional Sum). The scope may also include the following Optional Work: 1. removal and decommissioning of 2.3 km of existing 500 kV transmission line which include six guyed lattice towers, near Telkwa, BC. 2. Connection of newly constructed 5L063 line bypass to existing alignment. Delivery or completion date is June 2023. This procurement may involve negotiation. This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. All responses should be in English.
