Industry Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) Workshops: NEW DATES
Purpose: The purpose of this notice is to invite industry representatives working in defence sustainment to participate in one of the on-line Industry Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) Workshop, listed below. This workshop will assist industry in understanding Defence Materiel Sustainment (formerly: the Sustainment Initiative) and its strategic context, the SBCA process, industry-s role in supporting the SBCA process, and gaining insight into how materiel sustainment and SBCA may affect the delivery of sustainment solutions for military equipment.

What is a SBCA: The SBCA is a rigorous analytical process that guides sustainment teams in developing flexible, scalable, and principles-based sustainment solutions. The analysis framework of SBCA relies on a whole-of-government approach with early industry engagement. It results in both improved decision making, and the development of integrated sustainment solutions that are optimized based on the four principles of sustainment: performance, value for money, flexibility, and socio-economic benefits. The SBCA is designed to assess/evaluate all relevant options contributing to the development of tailored sustainment solutions for military equipment.
