APPENDIX D - RFP PARTICULARSA. THE DELIVERABLESThe instrument to be purchased is a Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer system which will be capable of measuring a wide range of elements for multi-elemental composition analyses of samples of molecular imaging probes, as well as in vitro and ex vivo samples that have been properly processed, from a wide array of matricesSTATEMENT OF WORK Background Requirements-Specifications and Environment The instrument must allow for the analysis of at least 24 elements (including lanthanides and transition metal species) elements, and for multi-element analysis. The instrument must comprise of the following: a nebulizer, plasma torch, octupole collision cell and quadrupole mass spectrometer at minimum. The instrument must reduce input gas flow rates to lower gas consumption rates, reducing the cost of operation. The instrument must show good sensitivity and have a broad dynamic range to accommodate the range of sample sources that will be evaluated.The environment where the equipment will be placed is a regular lab at the University of Ottawa in Marion Hall, Room 224-D. Reference to delivery Delivery Schedule The equipment outlined in this document shall be guaranteed to be delivered to specified location at the University of Ottawa (140 Louis-Pasteur Private, Ottawa, ON K1N 1A2 - Marion Hall, room 224-D).
