Tender are invited for INDIGENOUS RELATIONS CONSULTANT
Consulting Assignments - Business Services

Summary Details:
To provided with the intent of procuring an offer in the form of a Proposal from a Proponent, capable of being accepted by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure ("Ministry") for the purpose of entering into a two (2) year contract.
The Contract will be on an As and When required basis with no minimum guarantee of work in association with the Contract.
The focus of this RFP is to procure the services of one or more Indigenous Relations Consultant under separate contracts to assist in the following areas:
· Relationship building with Indigenous groups;
· The Provincial duty to consult and accommodate with Indigenous groups;
· Negotiation of agreements with Indigenous groups;
· The Ministry's efforts to move forward on reconciliation; and
· Administrative and research support.
The purpose of the Indigenous Relations Consultant's role is to assist the Northern Region (NR) office, based in Prince George, on the above noted services. All direction will be from the Director, Indigenous Relations and/or a designated Ministry representative.
