Description:
Through an open procurement, CFS is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to deliver pre-developed Indigenous cultural training aligned with the Relationship & Culture Pathway outlined in the ICUF. This cultural training will fulfill ongoing Ministry-wide training requirements for one year. Thisinitiative supports the Ministry's commitment to reconciliation by enhancing cultural knowledge and competency of staff who work directly with Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities across Alberta. This pathway focuses on enhancing staff's ability to: • Understand and honour Indigenousworldviews, histories, and lived experiences • Build and sustain meaningful, trust-based relationships • Participate respectfully in cultural practices The overarching goal is to equip staff with practical, culturally grounded knowledge that fosters respectful engagement and culturally safe servicedelivery.
