| Tender Details : | Indigenous Art Installation in VIU's Library Solicitation Type : EOI - Expression of Interest (Informal) Solicitation Number : 2020-5090 Location : British Columbia Purchase Type : Not Stated Description : VIU invites proposals from Snuneymuxw First Nation artists for the creation of an art installation inside the 24/7 Nanaimo Campus Library and Learning Commons, currently under renovation. Proposals from both emerging and established artists and/or artist teams will be considered. The artwork will be on long-term display and will become part of the University Art Collection. VIU's project budget is a maximum of $10,000 (including applicable taxes). The selected artist should have the artwork ready for installation no later than May 31, 2021. There will be an optional site tour for interested artists on November 20, 2020 at 10:30 am PT. |
