Description : The purpose of this work is to provide guidance to the Faculty of Health Dean, Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Relations, and the Indigenous Knowledge Keeper on the creation of a strategy related to identifying funders for the projects such as: 1. The creation of several murals and art installations on campus o to enhance the sense of belonging for our indigenous students, faculty, and staff. 2. Capital projects for land-based programming (e.g., building a greenhouse, outdoor garden, sweat lodge and new head house). 3. Building year-round classroom space for cultural teachings. 4. Develop interdisciplinary courses on Indigenous topics for graduate students who will receive a certificate for each completed course. In addition, explore funding sources for indigenous content experts (e.g., lecturers, elders, endowed teaching chairs). 5. Bringing secondary indigenous students to campus to experience university life.
