- REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR STANDING OFFER AGREEMENT
The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites detailed Standing Offers from experienced and qualified applicants to submit an application on the form attached as Schedule B - Application for Standing Offer Agreement (the “Application”) for the performance of commissioning services as more particularly described in Schedule A - Scope of Services (the “Services”). The quantity surveying service provider is free to suggest changes that improve this process; however, the intent of the Services defined herein shall be considered the preferred acceptable performance of the quantity surveying service provider.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The City of Surrey-s Capital Programs department intends to engage an independent quantity surveyor (QS) to oversee the budget management and cost control of various infrastructure initiatives, such as recreation centres, aquatic facilities, libraries, community centres, fire halls, and other operation facilities. Capital projects may include, new builds, major expansion and major renovations and upgrades. The QS will support the City-s capital construction projects management team in the successful budget planning and cost control of current and future capital project programs as directed by Council on an “as and when needed” basis under a standing offer arrangement.
