- The AESO is seeking an independent, high-level evaluation of the reasonableness of the AESO-s design of the restructured energy market (the “REM”) and, subsequently, a further evaluation of whether the ISO rules related to REM reasonably reflect the REM design, all as further described in Appendix E (the “Services”). The Services include the delivery of an interim report to the AESO on May 12, 2025 and a final report to the AESO on May 30, 2025. The Successful Bidder must perform the Services impartially and without bias. As such, the AESO emphasizes that the Successful Bidder must: (1) not have any real or apparent conflicts of interest, or (2) if there are any real or apparent conflicts of interest, have measures in place that mitigate such real or apparent conflicts of interest, to the satisfaction of the AESO in its sole and absolute discretion.
