Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Incontinence Products for Long Term Care (LTC) Facilities, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The prospective proponent will provide Incontinence products to seven (7) Long-Term Care Homes located throughout Niagara Region. The successful proponent shall provide incontinent products and services to seven (7) LTC homes across the Niagara Region. Each incontinent resident has an individualized plan, as part of their plan of care, to promote and manage bowel and bladder continence based on the assessment by the staff. Residents are provided with a range of disposable continence care products that are based on their individual assessed needs, proper fit, promote resident comfort, ease of use, dignity and good skin integrity; promote continued independence wherever possible and appropriate for the time of day, and for the individual resident-s type of incontinence.
