Tender are invited for ImageXpress Micro Confocal System
Project Description : The department is studying small model organisms such as larval zebrafish to attain quality data that empower drug discovery studies. The 3D nature makes imaging the outcomes a challenge. The ImageXpress Micro Confocal System is uniquely suited to help overcome that challenge in the required high-throughput manner. Also, the AI algorithms for data analysis is important to detect labelled structures within the zebrafish like the brain. This is critical for screening thousands of drugs.Currently, the ImageXpress Micro Confocal System is being used in the core facility and requires a new system to upgrade and integrate into the existing IT infrastructure which is a significant part of the system. This will simplify the acquisition working with the large server storage system for data sets obtained by the confocal which typically have very large files.The ImageXpress Micro Confocal System is the only system in the market able to do this.
