Description:
The Purchaser is seeking Proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to complete work for the replacement of two (2) roof-top units, known as RTU-2 and RTU-3, of the second phase only, with new hybrid heat pump/gas units at the at the St. Clair College Ford Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing(FCEM) Building located at 2000 Talbot Road West, Windsor, Ontario N9A 6S4.The term of the Agreement shall reflect the construction activities scheduled from approximately June 16, 2025, through February 28, 2026.The Preferred Proponent shall guarantee all work, equipment and materials for one (1)year from substantial completion of the Agreement. The Preferred Proponent shall guarantee the unit compressors for five (5) years from substantial completion of the Agreement.For drawings and specifications, please refer to Appendix A: Mechanical and Electrical Drawings.Proponents must carefullyreview Appendix A: Mechanical and Electrical Drawings. It is the sole responsibility of each Proponent to ensure that all associated costs are included in their total bid price. This includes, but is not limited to, the partial disassembly of ductwork beneath the roof required for the removal of theexisting unit from the current roof curb. Proponents must also account for any additional costs related to roof curbing modifications, structural roof reinforcement, and ductwork adjustments resulting from any differences in unit height dimension and/or weight between the proposed replacementunit...
