- Hugonard Dam needs major repairs to bring it up to Dam Safety Standards. WSA requires the successful respondent to determine, define, and prioritize the work that would be required to bring this dam into compliance with the Canadian Dam Association (CDA) Guidelines. Within this study, the feasibility and work required to decommission this dam will also be explored. WSA may also engage the successful respondent for Preliminary and Detailed Design, Construction Management and Project Closeout. A series of engineering studies, at increasing level of detail and cost estimate accuracy, are required to resolve the long-term dam safety issues.
