- The City of St. John's is inviting bids for the operation of a household hazardous waste (HHW) facility, located at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility, 340 East White Hills Road, St. John's, NL. The successful bidder is required to provide staffing for the facility as well as transportation of designated household hazardous wastes from the site to a collection point where it will be sent for final disposal. Bidders are required to possess a valid Certificate of Approval for a Transfer Station and Transportation of Waste Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Waste in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The unofficial results will be posted to the City-s bidding system website shortly after the closing and a public opening will take place at the closing time at the City-s Purchasing Office located at the Municipal Depot, 25 Blackler Ave. St. John-s, NL. The City may choose to forward bid prices to suppliers by an electronic or other means after the public opening instead of reading out bid prices at the public opening. Masks are strongly encouraged for all attendees.
