Detailed_Description : RFB for the provision of Historical and Archival Research Services to support Indigenous litigations against the Province of Ontario. Specialized archival research services are procured by the Ministry for time-sensitive and important litigation matters in relation to the 17th-20th century Canadian Indigenous issues.
Scope of Work : The Ministry is looking for Vendors who will conduct historical and ethnohistorical archival research services including independent preliminary and supplementary archival research; expert archival research in support of expert witness analysis and testimony; expert analysis, expert assistance and possible testimony for presentation in court in appropriate circumstances; historical archival document collection and management; and document transcription and translation. This work will be used to support the Ministry, its counsel and experts in the defense of legal matters relating to Indigenous groups and land claims occurring in Ontario.
