Description:
The Town of Grand Valley is seeking tenders from qualified contractors for the construction of Hill Town Drive in Monticello, a hamlet in the northwest corner of the municipality. The Work (“Work”) is the construction of proposed subdivision lands located in Monticello in the Town of Grand Valley (“Place of the Work”) for Town of Grand Valley (“Owner”), as is more particularly described in the Bid Documents (as defined in Part 1 - RFT Process ) and Contract (Part 3 - Instructions to Bidders).
Proposed Works Include:
Removal of mulch and minor clearing and grubbing;Stripping of topsoil and stock piling;Pre‑grading of future subdivision lots;Building of new road and placement of hot mix asphalt;Grading and installation of ditch subdrains, culverts;Construction of Utility trenches (JUT), and installation of electrical including street lighting; andRestoration of disturbed lands with topsoil and seed.
