Description:
Tender are invited for Highway 16A Winter Maintenance
Project Description : The scope of work for this contract consists of snow plowing and the application of a sand/salt mixture, along with a pre-wet chemical of MgCI with the inclusion of a rust inhibiting additive to the roadway surface when conditions warrant. All eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 16A from the westerly boundary (Sec 32 - Twp 52 - Range 27 - W4) to the easterly boundary, (400 meters east of Pioneer Road) will be maintained under this contract. The terms of the contract for seasonal work will be from November 1, 2022, to April 30, 2023. When mutually agreeable between the City and the Contractor, the term of this Agreement may be extended or renewed under the same terms and conditions for further one (1) year periods, not to exceed three (4) additional years
