Description:
The work includes horizontal (Global Navigational Satellite System, GNSS) and vertical surveys of selected number of existing High Precision Network (HPN) points and Active Control Points (ACPs). The geodetic survey consists of a framework network (4 HPNs, 2 CBNs, 8 ACPs), a 2-8 km grid Network (141 HPNs), and GNSS levelling (height transfer) to 2 HPNs on Bowen Island from the Lower Mainland. Another component of the work is combining previous refresh survey data with the latest refresh survey, processing the data and providing adjusted coordinates/elevations of the monuments for current horizontal & vertical reference systems. This is further detailed in Section 00 24 10 - Scope of Services. The work is anticipated to start in April and completed by December 2026.
