Description : McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of one (1) High Performance Liquid Chromatography Instrument and one (1) Tandem Mass Spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) Instrument in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals. The LC-MS system is required for: (i) qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical and biochemical compounds, including contaminants present in both aquatic and complex organic matrices, (ii) analysis of microbial metabolites, (iii) metabolite isolation (semi-preparative capacity), and (iv) analysis of biochemical reaction products. Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted. The proposal shall include both HPLC/UPLC and triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry (MSMS) instruments capable of working sequentially, a designated preparative column, and a computer with software capable of operating both instruments simultaneously. Software should be capable of controlling all aspects of the HPLC pump, mass analyzer, column compartment, and autosampler including network access for remote data processing.
