This RFP is being issued by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine on behalf of the Governing Council of the University of Toronto for the procurement of a High-Performance Computing (HPC) set up that is based on a master/worker node cryo-EM processing architecture.The cluster should be centered around a single master node that will: (i) host a large, shared storage layer; (ii) integrate multiple on-rack and stand-alone tower worker nodes at 10G or faster local connectivity; and (iii) be capable of 10G networking to building networking infrastructure. The cluster should include cryo-EM processing software, including but not limited to cryoSPARC, RELION, etc. all of which should be installed and verified on all worker nodes.The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation.
