Description:
The Ministry of Environment and Parks (the “Ministry”) invites interested parties to submit Responses for the provision of Services related to responding and remediating Spills on an as, if, and when requested basis.

The objective of this Request for Standing Arrangement is to establish a list of Contractors who are qualified to respond and remediate Spills of dangerous goods. Upon call out, the Contractor will be responsible for analysing the incident, creating and implementing an action plan.

The Contractor is expected to immediately take actions for the remediation of the Spill by acting on the instruction of the Ministry-s personnel, which may include visiting the Spill site, coordinate with the local authorities, community, subject matter experts, isolate the Spill site, assess, contain, report to the Ministry, stabilize, remedy, test, reclaim, get it certified and open the site for its use or terminate the Services at any time as directed by the Ministry.

The Province intends to enter a Standing Arrangements in the form set out in Appendix A (Standing Arrangement Form) with all Respondents who have met all mandatory criteria, including meeting all minimum scores (if any), and have passed all rated criteria.
