- Project Overview: Hampton Place, a mature residential neighborhood near the UBC Point Grey Campus, has roadways that are approximately 30 years old. The roads are generally in good condition, making a full replacement unnecessary. This project will focus on targeted repairs to extend the lifespan and improve the quality of the existing road surface. Scope of Work: The project includes the following repairs: -1) Asphalt Mill and Overlay: A 50 mm mill and overlay will be applied to two specific areas, covering a total area of approximately 1505 m². -2) Concrete Roadway Replacement: The existing concrete roadway at the entrance to Hampton Place will be removed and reinstalled. This area measures 180 m². -Work must meet and constructed to MMCD specifications. Timeline: Late August to September 2025 Bid Meeting is Mandatory.
