Tender are invited for Hamburg Wheel Tracking Test - Device

Tender Details Contract of the supply and delivery of one (1) Hamburg Wheel Tracking test device as specified herein.

SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Fully operational unit capable of performing all functions necessary to complete AASHTO T324-19 using Superpave Gyratory Compactor (SGC) specimens.

2. A Dual Wheel System, with each wheel being independent, capable of performing 2 separate tests simultaneously wet or dry.

3. Included shall be 4 - sets of Cylindrical Specimen Mounting Systems. The mounting system must restrict shifting of the specimen to within 0.5 mm during testing and must suspend the specimen to provide a minimum of 20 mm of free circulating water on all sides of the mounting system.

4. Shall include 5 high density polyethylene molds. 4 for testing and 1 for cutting.

5. The unit shall use a motorized hoist or retract system to allow for safe removal of samples after each test.

6. Stainless Steel or non-corrosive materials on all surfaces exposed to water.

7. Fully enclosed hood system when testing is in progress with all safety stop features.

8. Machine with a maximum width of 48".

9. Temperature Control System: A water bath capable of controlling the temperature within 1.0oC over a range of 25oC to 70oC. The bath shall have a circulating system to stabilize the temperature within the specimen ...
