Assessing flood adaptation solutions in Hampton, NB
(HAM-RFP-AFAS)

The town of Hampton is looking for Engineering Consulting Services (proponent) that specializes in Flood Adaptation, Hydrology and/or Hydraulics to complete an assessment of flood adaptation solutions for three (3) areas identified as high flood risk in Hampton's Climate Adaptation Plan (2021). This is a federally funded project with a budget of approximately $80,000.00 (HST incl.).
Hampton is located 35 km northeast of Saint John, New Brunswick. The municipality is home to 9,320 people and spans approximately 300 km2. Hampton's rolling hills, waterways, farmland, wildlife and world-renowned marsh areas are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Natural features and heritage, such as wetlands, rivers, waterways and escarpments, play a major role in defining the character of the municipality, though it also has a variety of shops, services, and recreational facilities which are enjoyed by residents and visitors.
Hampton is bisected by the Kennebecasis River, a tributary of the Saint John River, which flows into the Bay of Fundy.
