Description:
Community: Haines Junction
Traditional Territory: Champagne and Aishihik First Nations
Apply mechanical vegetation treatment to clear 10 hectares of forest land as proposed in the Haines Junction Community Wildfire Protection Plan. The location is approximately 4 km north of the Village of Haines Junction near km 1575 of the Alaska Highway. Salvage of merchantable timber is required. Non-merchantable timber and debris must be mulched and/or piled and burned. Construction and deactivation of 500m of a gated temporary forest resources road will be required to extract timber.
This RFB is a second stage procurement following RFQ 2025-1-4154 Request for Qualifications to Provide Mechanized and Non-Mechanized Fuel Treatment Services. Only Bidders that have pre-qualified through this RFQ process or any subsequent onboarding process released under the same terms can submit a Bid on this RFB.
Any Potential Bidder who is not pre-qualified at the Closing Time of this RFB, will not be considered for this procurement.
