Description:
Introduction :This invitation to tender concerns the replacement, repair, and addition of semi-rigid guardrails on the Alpha and Bravo tracks at Transport Canada-s Motor Vehicle Test Centre (MVTC), located in Blainville, Quebec. PMG Technologies is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Transport Canada-s MVTC. Services required :The project consists of carrying out the following work : The demolition and replacement of all posts, wooden spacer blocks, and hardware of the existing semi-rigid safety guardrails (approximately 3,200 linear metres); The demolition for replacement or dismantling for reinstallation of the existing double-corrugated steel rail proﬁles of the semi-rigid safety guardrails, based on the assumption that 50% of these components may be reused (approximately 3,200 linear metres); The installation of semi-rigid safety guardrail end terminals (18 units).
