By identifying critical strengths and gaps across the AI value chain, the analysis aims to drive Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) opportunities and enhance specific Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) efforts.Leveraging the GTA-s position as a global hub for AI innovation, this project will aim to attract high-value investments, solidify the region-s leadership in the global AI ecosystem, and promote sustainable growth.The analysis will integrate regional and sub-regional strengths, highlighting clusters, industries, and verticals of opportunity, and fostering a unified regional approach.
