Description:
The B.C. Ministry of Agriculture and Food (the “Ministry”) seeks the services of a contractor to assist the Ministry in estimating economic impacts to agricultural water rights holders, agricultural sectors, and other agricultural stakeholders potentially affected by long-term water rights modification scenarios in the Koksilah River watershed and temporary water use curtailments in specific watersheds across B.C. The work includes data exploration and gathering, sector and stakeholder mapping, stakeholder engagement, methods development, testing, and refinement, and documentation. This RFP is for Phase 1 activities (February to March 31, 2025); based on the successful completion of Phase 1, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract to complete Phase 2 of the project (April 2025, to March 31, 2026). The proposal will be evaluated on the full scope of work (i.e., Phases 1 and 2).
