Description:
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food seeks a contractor to develop and deliver a governance training initiative aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of agricultural Organizations across British Columbia (B.C.). These organizations, which rely heavily on volunteer boards, play a vital role in supporting producers through research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
This project will involve designing a comprehensive suite of governance training modules tailored to the needs of these Organizations and Ministry staff, incorporating foundational and advanced concepts in governance. Deliverables include in-person and virtual workshops, interactive training materials, and post-session evaluations to ensure effectiveness and adaptability.
The contractor will engage with industry Organizations and Ministry staff, to deliver training that enhances governance best practices, improves operational efficiency, and strengthens relationships within the sector.
