Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes (“the City”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for RFP 2025-016-CP Growth Strategy for Kawartha Lakes Public Library, for the provision of all labour and materials necessary, as further described in Appendix C of the RFP Particulars.
The Kawartha Lakes Public Library seeks consulting services to support the creation of a new Library Growth Plan. This Plan will include a comprehensive assessment and analysis of its current facilities, space, services, technology, staffing, and community demographics and will provide a roadmap for the development of the library to meet the future growth and needs of the community. Preparation of the long-range plan will include close cooperation with Library and City staff, the Library Board as well as public participation. The Library Comprehensive Growth Plan must also include fiscal planning for the Library as well as its future space, staffing, technological, and programmatic needs. This Plan will be used to connect, grow and sustain the Library system in the City of Kawartha Lakes for the next 10 years, 2026-2036.
The Consultant will be responsible for regular progress reports, draft reports, presentation materials and a final report.
