- This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Grosvenor Outdoor Pool Complex Assessment 2025, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The City of St. Albert is currently in search of an experienced external architectural and engineering consulting firm to undertake a thorough evaluation of the Grosvenor Outdoor Pool facility located at 1 Grenfell Ave, St. Albert, AB T8N 0X6. This detailed assessment will cover both the two pool basins and the entirety of the associated building infrastructure, with a keen focus on evaluating structural integrity, ensuring safety standards are met, and confirming compliance with current regulations. The primary objectives of this project include:
Renovation Estimate: Development of a detailed cost estimate for renovating the existing facility. This will involve creating conceptual drawings that illustrate possible upgrades to the current structure, enhancing user experience, improving energy efficiency, and updating outdated elements while maintaining the charm and functionality of the pool.Full Facility Replacement Estimate: Alongside the renovation plan, the firm will also provide an in-depth estimate for completely replacing the current facility.
