Description:
This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by Sturgeon County (the “County”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Sturgeon County Gravel Supply, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The objective of this Tender is to solicit bids from qualified contractors for the supply of road gravel for Sturgeon County for the year 2026, with an option to extend for a second year (2027), to be completed on a yearly basis, based on satisfactory performance in year one.
Please note that the award is based on budget approval and may or may not be procured pending funding.
The quantities presented are estimated annual volumes that may decrease or increase, at the discretion of the County, based on the need for Gravel in 2026 and 2027. The quantity requested may change pending funding approval, and the County reserves the right to adjust material quantities for both years 1 and 2.
The County reserves the right to increase quantities up to double the initial estimates provided in each year, as required at the pricing provided under the successfully awarded contract, and for any potential extension.
This is a potential group purchasing agreement that is also accessible to neighbouring towns and municipalities. The primary agreement and service priority being the County. The County may increase gravel quantities as required to accommodate neighbouring towns and municipalities.
